A roundabout is a road node that seeks to solve a vehicular traffic problem, but can it be more than that? True to its approach, the Caja Popular Agustin de Iturbide (Agustin de Iturbide Public Savings Bank) decided to adopt the Cuatro Caminos roundabout in Autlan and entrust us once again with this important challenge.
Starting with a limited budget, our proposal was a project that, through landscaping, would contribute to the roundabout in several ways. On one hand, we made the most of existing resources, reusing in some cases, cleaning up in others, replacing the ground covering with mineral layers that allow us to reduce the water demand and maintenance. On the other hand, we sought to reinforce the function of the road distributor.

Observing our surroundings, we found inspiration in the grooves of the diverse crops of the region and its alignment, they generate a perspective effect that guides the eye so, starting from the existing vegetation mainly formed of palm trees, we created a composition of linear vectors that, from any of the converging streets, clean the visual, achieving a very intuitive flow. In this way, we were able to beautify this landmark of the city.
